[Remote] Data Analyst

James Search Group is partnering with a leading retail bank that uses data-driven decision-making to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency. The Entry-Level Data Analyst will analyze data, create reports and dashboards, support data modeling, and provide actionable insights for business operations and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights
- Develop reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI/Tableau
- Assist in building data models to support business decision-making
- Work cross-functionally with teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy while maintaining compliance with banking regulations
Skills
- Experience: 0-3 years in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and one or more analytics tools (Python, R, Power BI, Tableau)
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data sets and generate meaningful insights
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
- Communication: Ability to translate data findings into actionable business recommendations
