[Remote] Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kirrston's Kollections, LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to turn raw information into dependable business conclusions. The role focuses on validating and analyzing data, monitoring key measures, creating clear reports and visualizations, investigating recurring and ad hoc questions, and communicating evidence-based findings.
Responsibilities
- Compare results across periods, categories, or other relevant dimensions to identify meaningful trends
- Collect, clean, organize, and validate structured data before it is used for analysis or reporting
- Use SQL, spreadsheets, and analytical tools to filter, compare, reconcile, and interpret information
- Translate business questions into measurable analytical tasks and clearly defined outputs
- Communicate findings in straightforward business language and distinguish evidence from assumptions
- Support improvements to recurring reporting so outputs remain consistent, efficient, and easy to understand
Skills
- • Willingness to document work carefully and ask focused questions when requirements or source data are unclear
- • Comfort working with numbers, structured datasets, percentages, trends, and common performance measures
- • Comfort learning new systems, data definitions, and reporting processes as responsibilities expand
- • Foundational knowledge of SQL, spreadsheets, reporting tools, or business intelligence concepts
- • Curiosity and sound judgment when a result looks inconsistent with expectations or prior information
