[Remote] Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Brooksource is seeking a Data Analyst II to support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives across portfolio, financial, resource, demand, and project management functions. The role develops Power BI dashboards, data models, and trusted reporting solutions while using SQL and Snowflake to validate data and support business decisions. The analyst will also contribute to reporting modernization, governance, certified datasets, and AI-enabled automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and optimize Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
- Build and maintain data models, DAX logic, and reporting datasets
- Use SQL and Snowflake to validate data, troubleshoot discrepancies, and analyze data relationships
- Partner with business stakeholders and project managers to gather requirements and define KPIs
- Translate business needs into meaningful, executive-ready dashboards and reports
- Support reporting modernization, Snowflake migration, certified dataset development, and reporting governance
- Contribute to strategic analytics initiatives, including AI-enabled automation where applicable
- Adapt to shifting priorities based on project and business needs
Skills
- 2+ years of relevant data analytics or business intelligence experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI, including:
- Data modeling
- DAX
- Dashboard and report development
- Visualization design
- Performance optimization
- Strong SQL experience and experience working with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
- Experience validating data, troubleshooting reporting issues, and working with enterprise reporting datasets
- Ability to gather requirements, define KPIs, and develop reporting solutions that support business decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders, including leadership
- Experience with certified datasets, standardized metrics, reporting governance, or enterprise analytics environments is a plus
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required
