[Remote] Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CBRE is seeking a Data Analyst within its Digital & Technology organization. The role performs data research and analysis, develops queries, dashboards, models, automation systems, and reports, and provides insights and recommendations to improve business performance. The analyst also collaborates with agile development teams and communicates data findings to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL and other scripting languages to develop and maintain complex queries that pull and curate data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain data dashboards and associated assets including scripts, tables, workflows, and supporting processes in accordance with team standards
• Apply fundamental data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems
• Define basic data requirements and gather information using judgment and statistical tests
• Use programming and evaluation tools (e.g. Python), including open-source programs to plan models and extract insights
• Apply modeling and optimization methods to improve business performance
• Develop and maintain data models, data automation systems, low-code solutions, and reporting systems and performance metrics support
• Develop ad-hoc reporting based on the review of existing data sources
• Exhibit rigor, judgment, and ability to present a detailed 'data story' to a business line
• Confirm the quality and integrity of existing data sources
• Collaborate with the agile development team to provide recommendations and communications on enhancing existing or new processes and programs
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values
• Impact the quality of your own work
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
