[Remote] Data Analyst (Dashboard Developer)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Guidehouse provides consulting services focused on data, analytics, and business process automation. The Data Analyst (Dashboard Developer) will support Federal Government organizational and mission goals by developing Tableau dashboards, leading data cleaning efforts, maintaining analytics solutions, and translating stakeholder needs into scalable data science solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using Tableau
- Leading and reviewing data cleaning scripts using tools such as Databricks, SQL, and Python
- Maintain and enhance dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools used in operational and strategic decision-making
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and improved data handling, and contribute to implementation efforts
- ·Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver AI/analytics use cases, translating business needs into scalable data science solutions
- Focus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development
- Support business development (such as RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers), internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development
Skills
- * Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"
- * A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related STEM field is required
- * ONE (1) or more year of experience in business analytics, data analysis, data engineer, data visualization or data science
- * Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
- * Ability to gather requirements and present to clients with strong written and verbal communication skills
- * Familiarity with dashboard tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- * Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments (such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Impala)
- * Experience performing analytics and data transformation using SQL, Python, and R
- * Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration
