[Remote] Data & Analytics - Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CFGI is a financial consulting firm that helps CFOs and organizations address accounting, financial reporting, transactions, regulatory compliance, digital transformation, and data analytics challenges. The Consultant will support data analytics, automation, and business transformation engagements by developing dashboards, reports, data-driven solutions, and automated workflows that improve business processes, reporting, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support data analytics, automation, and business transformation engagements across a variety of industries
• Develop data visualizations, dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for CFOs, finance leaders, and business stakeholders
• Design and execute the transformation, cleansing, validation, and analysis of financial, operational, and transactional data to support reporting accuracy, process improvement, and business decision-making
• Support workflow automation initiatives using low-code, no-code, and code-based technologies
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
• Develop client-ready analyses, dashboards, presentations, and reporting materials
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and implementation of automation and analytics solutions
• Collaborate with CFGI professionals and client teams to deliver high-quality client service

Skills

• * 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, business transformation, finance transformation, data engineering, and/or analytics consulting
• * Experience developing dashboards, reports, automation solutions, or data analytics projects that support finance, accounting, FP&A, operational reporting, or executive decision-making using business intelligence and analytics tools
• * Experience analyzing finance and accounting data and supporting analytics, automation, reporting, or technology initiatives that improve financial decision-making, operational efficiency, reporting quality, and business performance within a consulting, professional services, finance, or corporate environment
• * Experience interpreting accounting, finance, FP&A, or operational business processes and translating business requirements into data models, analytics solutions, dashboards, or automation workflows
• * Experience with one or more data automation, ETL, or workflow automation technologies, such as Alteryx, Power Automate, or similar platforms
• * Experience with one or more data visualization platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools
• * Experience programming with Python, SQL, R, or other analytics-focused programming languages
• * Experience working with relational databases, cloud data platforms, data engineering, data modeling, or solution architecture technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or similar platforms
• * Experience partnering with finance, accounting, FP&A, or business operations teams to develop data-driven business solutions
• * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• * CPA or other relevant professional certification
• * Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or advanced analytics solutions
• * Experience managing large datasets, enterprise reporting environments, or digital transformation initiatives
• * Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across client and engagement teams
• * Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities
