[Remote] Data & Analytics Director
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Harnham is partnering with a well-established, PE-backed organisation undergoing a major global data and AI transformation. The Director of Data & Analytics will lead the analytics engineering and reporting function, own analytics strategy and architecture, modernize data platforms, and develop AI-enabled and customer-facing analytics products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 11 across Analytics Engineering and Reporting
- Own analytics strategy, roadmap, architecture and delivery
- Drive modernisation of analytics platforms, semantic models and self-service capabilities
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering and Executive Leadership
- Help shape next-generation AI experiences including conversational analytics and natural language reporting
- Lead development of customer-facing analytics products used by enterprise clients
Skills
- • Director / Head of Analytics leadership experience
- • Strong analytics engineering background, not traditional BI-only leadership
- • Experience leading teams of 10+
- • Deep expertise with Looker / LookML
- • Strong SQL and Snowflake experience
- • Data modelling and semantic layer ownership
- • Background in software engineering, analytics engineering, or data engineering
- • Experience building SaaS analytics products
- • Exposure to AI-enabled analytics solutions, conversational analytics or self-service analytics platforms
