[Remote] Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Compri Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer III to design and support scalable data solutions. The role focuses on building data pipelines and integrations, supporting APIs and enterprise systems, leading data engineering initiatives for AI and machine learning projects, and mentoring team members while delivering complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations using SQL, Python, Spark, Azure, and Fabric
- Develop and support REST/SOAP APIs and third-party system integrations
- Lead data engineering initiatives supporting AI and machine learning projects
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and system performance
- Provide Tier 3 support for reporting, accounting, and integrated business systems
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and Agile team activities
- Mentor team members and lead complex projects from design through delivery
Skills
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, Spark, Microsoft Azure, and Fabric
- Experience building APIs and enterprise system integrations
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data environments and drive continuous improvement
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and project ownership experience
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
