[Remote] Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hatch Pros is seeking a Data Engineer with extensive experience in building data pipelines. The role involves developing ELT processes and utilizing various tools and technologies to create robust data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build from scratch not inheriting current pipelines
- Develop productive ELT processes
- Build multi-step ELT jobs
- Build robust data pipelines through tools like Azure Data Factory from scratch
- Proficient with Python and PL/SQL scripts
- Deep knowledge of SQL tuning and optimization
- Extensive SQL database & Mongo/Cosmos database knowledge
- VBA Scripting Experience building data reporting and dashboarding in Excel
- Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks experience preferred
- AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) experience
- ETL related to applications containerized & deployed on AKS (or EKS)
Skills
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with proven tracked record of developing productive ELT processes
- Experience in building multi-step ELT jobs, building robust data pipelines through tools like Azure Data Factory from scratch
- Proficient with Python and PL/SQL scripts; deep knowledge of SQL tuning and optimization
- Extensive SQL database & Mongo/Cosmos database knowledge
- VBA Scripting Experience building data reporting and dashboarding in Excel
- AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) experience, and ETL related to applications containerized & deployed on AKS (or EKS)
- Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks experience preferred
- Azure cloud certifications and/or past experience preferred
