[Remote] Data Engineer - III
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Data Engineer - III to join a financial services company. The ideal candidate will design and implement secure data platforms, engage with product teams, and contribute technical expertise to enhance the organization's capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and implementing highly secure, data platforms that support critical business requirements
- Following approved lifecycle methodologies and creating comprehensive design documents
- Performing rigorous coding and testing while upholding the highest secure coding standards and practices
- Engaging with product teams as a trusted technical partner to drive adoption and resolve complex technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
- Leveraging hands-on tech lead or senior contributor experience to elevate technical capabilities
Skills
- Hands-on experience in Cloud data engineering (ETL/ELT, Data Ingestion techniques, IaC, Data pipelines)
- Hands-on experience with Secure Coding, Data and Application Security
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services and building high performant data stores
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of directly related experience and/or education required
- Advanced level experience with building and managing data Lakes is preferred
- 8yrs of experience preferred
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
