[Remote] Data Engineer - Python & advanced SQL (W2 -100% Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Xforia Global Talent & Technology Solutions is hiring a Data Engineer for a long-term contract role. The position focuses on Python-based data processing, automation, ETL/ELT development, advanced SQL, Snowflake data warehousing, and scalable data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Strong hands-on experience in Python for data processing, automation, and ETL/ELT development
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, transformation, and data management
- Ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and performance optimization
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Python for data processing, automation, and ETL/ELT development
- Advanced expertise in SQL, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, transformation, and data management
- Strong understanding of database management, data modeling, and data integration
- Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and performance optimization
- Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred
