[Remote] Data Engineer - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dev10 provides a paid training and consulting pathway for individuals developing careers in software and data engineering. The Data Engineer cohort role involves immersive training in data technologies followed by up to two years of data engineering consulting on client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Participate in an immersive, paid training program to build the skills needed to be a successful Data Engineer
- Train in high-demand technologies including Relational and Non-Relational Databases, APIs, Python, Pandas, Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, and Machine Learning
- Engage with Senior Engineer mentors in a hands-on, collaborative learning environment
- After training, work for up to two years as a Data Engineering consultant on various client engagements
Skills
- * Bachelor's degree
- * Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- * Willingness to relocate anywhere in the continental United States
- * Minimum 6 months of programming experience from academic coursework, hands-on projects, or professional work in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, C, C#, C++, JavaScript, R, SQL, MATLAB, Mathematica, TypeScript, Shell scripting, Go, or Kotlin
- * A recent STEM degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline) OR 12+ months of professional work experience in finance, healthcare, banking, insurance, hospitality, or aviation
- * Passion for learning and a strong interest in Data Engineering
- * Strong logic and reasoning skills
- * Clear communication and collaboration abilities
- * A team-oriented mindset
