[Remote] Data Platform Engineer

The Data Platform Engineer will develop and maintain the enterprise data platform, building scalable data solutions, supporting analytics and reporting, and contributing to emerging AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, automate, and maintain data pipelines, data models, and performance metrics
- Develop analytical tools and curated datasets that provide actionable business insights
- Optimize and improve data infrastructure for scalability, efficiency, and reliability
- Monitor and enhance data quality through technical controls and performance metrics
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to troubleshoot data challenges and support analytics needs
- Research and implement new technologies that strengthen our data ecosystem
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of professional information systems, data engineering, analytics, or related experience
- 2+ years of advanced SQL programming, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Experience developing and managing cloud-based data warehouse solutions
- Proficiency with technologies such as SQL, Python, and data integration tools
- Financial services or banking industry experience
- Experience building scalable data architectures and performance-focused solutions
