[Remote] Data Scientist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lorven Technologies Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist for a long-term contract project. The role focuses on data science and machine learning, including predictive analytics, statistical modeling, data preprocessing, feature engineering, model validation, and performance evaluation using Python, SQL, and large-scale datasets.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Strong experience in Data Science and Machine Learning
- Hands-on experience with predictive analytics and statistical modeling
- Strong understanding of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
- Experience working with historical/large-scale datasets and efficiently querying data
- Strong Python skills and experience with relevant data science/ML libraries
- Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities
- Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, model validation, and performance evaluation
- Ability to think strategically and evaluate the future impact of recommendations and decisions
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
