[Remote] Data Scientist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Anagh Technologies Inc is seeking a Data Scientist / Product Analytics professional to support referral-program analytics for TurboTax Refer-a-Friend, with potential expansion to Credit Karma referral programs. The role focuses on product analytics, advanced SQL, experimentation, funnel optimization, dashboarding, stakeholder management, and developing data-driven recommendations for product and business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance performance dashboards and reporting
- Analyze referral-program performance against business goals and KPIs
- Design and analyze experiments to improve referral sharing rates and referred-user conversion
- Analyze customer funnels and product journeys through tax filing completion
- Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders on learning plans, business decisions, and execution
- Develop insights and recommendations based on large-scale datasets and clickstream data
- Support the transition of stable dashboard data pipelines to the Data Engineering team
- Identify opportunities to improve self-service analytics and dashboard capabilities using cloud and AI technologies
- Apply descriptive data science and statistical methods to solve business and product problems
Skills
- 7–10 years of overall experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong product analytics experience with customer funnel and product-flow optimization
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large datasets and clickstream data
- Strong experience with experimentation / A-B testing and analyzing experiment results
- Experience with dashboarding and reporting tools
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
- Business-minded approach with the ability to understand end-to-end product experiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Qlik Sense experience preferred
- Tableau or Looker experience is highly transferable
- Regression modeling
- Difference-in-differences analysis
- Customer segmentation and lookalike targeting
- Databricks / Databricks Notebooks
- Data pipeline development and maintenance
- Experience with scheduling/orchestration platforms such as Superglue or similar tools
- Python experience is a plus but not required
- Experience with cloud and AI-enabled analytics solutions is a plus
