[Remote] Data Scientist, OT Security

The Data Scientist, OT Security role supports a data center OT security team by conducting statistical analysis, building data pipelines, developing business intelligence solutions, and creating dashboards and reports to improve operational performance, sustainability, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct statistical analyses and model development for CSRM performance metrics, including PCA and linear regression-based forecasting
- Design A/B testing frameworks to optimize user interfaces for safety and reporting platforms, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction
- Build and manage data pipelines using SQL, Python, and ETL tools to ensure the integrity and scalability of data workflows
- Perform data migrations and implement data quality controls, with a focus on tools such as BigQuery and Looker Studio
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to define KPIs, streamline reporting processes, and align strategic goals
- Design A/B testing frameworks to optimize user interfaces for reporting platforms, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction
- Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations in Looker Studio, Tableau, and PLX to present actionable insights for stakeholders
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end business intelligence solutions, enabling impactful decision-making across global programs
- Develop intelligence reports for operational, quarterly, and monthly business reviews, highlighting key insights and driving program improvements
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) in data analytics, data science, or a related role
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL pipeline development
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or PLX
- Experience with data quality management and migrations in tools
- Strong statistical analysis skills, including PCA, regression analysis, and A/B testing methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present data insights to senior leadership
- Knowledge of BigQuery and Google Developer Tools (Critique, Cider, Piper)
- Experience designing dashboards for CSRM
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a focus on delivering user-friendly, actionable insights
- RedCloud requires employees have the legal ability to work in the country hired during their employment period
- Familiarity with sustainability or CSRM data analysis preferred
