[Remote] Deputy Program Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ProSync Technology Group, LLC is a defense contracting company supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. The Deputy Program Manager helps oversee the ISSO Support Department, maintaining cybersecurity compliance, documentation accuracy, continuous monitoring, and governance activities for Department of State systems. The role coordinates POA&M tracking, RMF documentation, vulnerability status, audits, and system owner engagements.
Responsibilities
- Acts as second-in-command to the PM for ISSO support operations
- Facilitates daily team tasking, monitors bandwidth, and ensures quality control
- Provides operational continuity across ISSOs when addressing escalations or urgent compliance tasks
- POA&M workflow management
- Documentation quality verification
- ISSO daily tasking and performance management
- SOP adherence and workflow improvements
- Coordination during audits, reviews, and system owner engagements
Skills
- 7+ years of cybersecurity or IT program coordination experience
- Knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800‑53, 800‑37
- A PMP or equivalent certification is required
- A minimum Secret security clearance is required to be considered for this position with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field
