[Remote] Dev Ops Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. World Wide Technology is a company that focuses on Information Technology solutions. They are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to support their IT Infrastructure and Operations team, requiring hands-on experience with Kubernetes and a strong background in software engineering.
Responsibilities
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure-focused roles is required
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized platforms; experience with Red Hat OpenShift is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience administering or supporting MongoDB or PostgreSQL platforms deployed on Kubernetes-based environments
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration concepts
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, Jenkins, Codefresh, and Git-based workflows
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling (e.g., Helm, Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as Prometheus and Grafana is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot distributed systems issues with guidance
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Motivation to continuously learn new technologies and expand technical skill sets
