[Remote] Developer/Programmer Analyst 3
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of technology and business consulting services. The company is seeking Senior Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 professionals to support a large-scale statewide education data system by developing and enhancing Oracle database applications, stored procedures, and Jasper Reports. The role also involves data analysis, testing, issue resolution, stakeholder collaboration, documentation, and participation in Agile SDLC release activities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support Oracle database applications using SQL and PL/SQL
- Develop and maintain complex stored procedures
- Design, develop, modify, and support Jasper Reports
- Perform advanced data aggregation, analysis, and validation
- Analyze and resolve complex database and reporting issues
- Support bug fixes and enhancements for core and PEIMS-related projects
- Perform developer and unit testing of application and database changes
- Participate in Agile development activities and release cycles
- Work with multiple stakeholders to validate report accuracy and functionality
- Document development activities, technical solutions, and system changes
- Develop approaches and solutions for complex technical problems
- Provide technical guidance and thought leadership
- Assist with managing project scope and identifying potential project issues
- Provide regular updates on project status, progress, risks, and deliverables
- Follow established SDLC processes, development standards, and release procedures
Skills
- 8+ years of experience designing, coding, and supporting applications using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- 8+ years of experience with unit testing
- 8+ years of experience working in Agile development environments
- 5+ years of experience with Jasper Reports development
- Strong experience with Oracle database development and stored procedures
- Strong data aggregation and analytical skills
- Ability to independently analyze complex problems and develop effective technical solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- 5+ years of experience with JIRA and/or Bitbucket
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise or government applications
- Experience supporting complex database and reporting environments
- Experience working within formal SDLC and Agile development processes
