[Remote] DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Arkhya Tech. Inc. is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a remote contract role. The position focuses on designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, managing containerized applications, and improving operational reliability and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release automation
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Monitor system performance, availability, and application health
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues
- Implement security, access controls, and best practices across DevOps environments
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams
- Improve deployment reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
Skills
- • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- • Strong experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
- • Proficiency with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting
- • Experience with Git and version control systems
- • Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- • Strong understanding of networking, security, scalability, and cloud architecture
- • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, and VPC
- • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices
- • Knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting
- • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch
- • Experience working in Agile environments
