[Remote] DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PearSon is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support enterprise cloud and systems operations. The role focuses on managing cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, containerized production environments, CI/CD pipelines, automation scripting, and Linux/Unix systems administration.
Skills
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of continuous experience in dedicated DevOps, SRE, or cloud systems roles
- Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in managing enterprise-grade workloads across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP
- Infrastructure as Code: Advanced operational expertise using Terraform or cloud-native configuration management platforms
- Containerization: Proven mastery over Docker runtime dynamics and Kubernetes production orchestration
- CI/CD Tools: Proficient admin knowledge of pipeline runners like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Scripting: Robust programmatic fluency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation scripting
- System Operations: Proficient command over Linux/Unix systems administration , including deep understanding of networking and kernel security
