[Remote] DevOps Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DuploCloud is an AI-native DevOps automation platform that helps engineering teams build, secure, and manage cloud infrastructure. The DevOps Engineer will work with customers to translate applications into modern cloud infrastructure, implement monitoring and security solutions, support compliance audits, and troubleshoot cloud and container deployments.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with customers to understand their applications and translate them into modern cloud infrastructure using the DuploCloud platform — from dockerizing apps still running on VMs to standing up centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Help customers navigate compliance frameworks like SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, and HITRUST, and support them through security and InfoSec audits
• Working across cloud architecture, infrastructure, or DevOps environments
• Building Docker images across one or more stacks (Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, etc.)
• Working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Using Kubernetes, ECS, or similar container orchestration technologies
• Implementing cloud security constructs like IAM, security groups, GuardDuty, WAF, Security Hub, and vulnerability scanning
• Working with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins
• Interfacing directly with customers to guide them through technical implementations
• Supporting customers through onboarding, infrastructure transformation, or similar structured engagement processes
• Availability for a rotating on-call schedule covering weekends and holidays, shared across the team

Skills

• * 2-3 years of cloud architecture, infrastructure, or DevOps experience
• * 2-3 years building Docker images across one or more stacks (Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, etc.)
• * Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• * Sound knowledge of Kubernetes, ECS, and similar container orchestration technologies
• * Deep understanding of cloud security constructs like IAM, SG, GuardDuty, penetration tests, WAF, Security Hub, intrusion detection, CVE, and vulnerability scanning
• * Technical and customer-focused mindset
• * Passion for helping customers with infrastructure transformation through a 2-3 month DuploCloud onboarding process
• * Strong communication skills and comfort interfacing directly with customers
• * Availability for a rotating on-call schedule covering weekends and holidays, shared across the team
• * Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitLab workflows, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus
