[Remote] DevOps Engineer

Quiet Professionals, LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical objectives by designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. The role involves automating infrastructure management and ensuring scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities
- The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure management
- The position requires creating and maintaining environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages with STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement
- Engineers will implement secrets injection strategies using FedRAMP-compliant tools (AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault)
- The role includes integrating CI/CD pipelines for secure automated deployment and rollback of ArcGIS components
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in DevOps engineering
- Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
- Automating cloud infrastructure
- Implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines
- Working with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Utilizing observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline)
- Working knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies
- Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices
- Strong understanding of monitoring/logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Ability to implement STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement
- Must have an ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance as specified by the program
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (Preferred, Not Required)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (Preferred, Not Required)
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (Preferred, Not Required)
