[Remote] DevOps Engineer - ADO
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Prestige Staffing is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in Azure DevOps (ADO) for a 4-month contractual engagement. The role involves managing enterprise Azure DevOps environments, focusing on platform governance, security, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile support.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Azure DevOps platform components including projects, repos, pipelines, and boards
- Standardize configurations, manage permissions, and optimize asset cleanup for governance
- Monitor platform health, usage, and costs to implement continuous improvements
- Govern and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, branch policies, and build validations
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce DevSecOps practices and implement security guardrails
- Support Agile teams with Azure Boards configuration for Scrum, Kanban, and other workflows
- Integrate Azure DevOps with security, cloud, and reporting tools, managing service connections and APIs
- Lead governance forums, develop standards, and ensure compliance across platform use
Skills
- Proven experience administering Microsoft Azure DevOps in an enterprise setting
- Expertise in Azure DevOps projects, repositories, pipelines, boards, and permissions management
- Strong understanding of Git workflows, branch policies, and repository governance
- Experience governing CI/CD pipelines, including YAML pipelines and build/release workflows
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles, security integrations, and compliance standards
- Skilled in troubleshooting permissions, pipelines, repositories, and platform integrations
- Excellent communication skills to guide teams and document best practices
- Ability to partner effectively with engineering, security, and Agile teams
- Certifications in Azure DevOps or Azure Cloud are a plus
