[Remote] DevOps Engineer - Generative AI
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Martian Wall is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and scale enterprise Generative AI, AI/ML, Data Engineering, and Data Platform capabilities. The role focuses on building self-service AI platforms, reusable services, platform modernization, and enterprise-scale AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and engineering for enterprise GenAI/AI platforms
- Build scalable LLM, RAG, agentic AI, and AI workflow solutions
- Develop self-service platforms covering data ingestion, ML lifecycle, deployment, monitoring, and governance
- Design event-driven/distributed architectures using Kafka, Spark, Flink, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies
- Build enterprise APIs, microservices, platform services, and automation
- Implement CI/CD, IaC, DevSecOps, observability, security, and governance
- Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration
Skills
- 10+ years in enterprise AI/ML, Data Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Strong Generative AI / LLM experience
- Expert Python
- RAG, vector databases, prompt orchestration, agent frameworks
- Distributed systems & event-driven architecture
- Kubernetes/containers & cloud-native platforms
- Kafka/Spark/Flink or equivalent
- APIs, microservices, CI/CD & DevSecOps
- AI governance, security, scalability & observability
- MCP, enterprise AI gateways, model management, AI copilots, knowledge graphs, metadata/data quality platforms, responsible AI
