[Remote] DevOps Engineer (Hybrid)

Hired is recruiting for a client seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on optimizing system performance, ensuring high availability, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing security best practices for cloud-based applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible to provision cloud resources
- Design, implement, and monitor CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in production environments
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability
- Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance controls
Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required
- Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is required
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go are required
- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef is required
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack is required
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, and load balancing, is preferred
- Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven computing is a plus
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices is preferred
