[Remote] DevSecOps Cloud Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Guidehouse is a consulting and technology services company providing digital and cloud solutions. The DevSecOps Cloud Engineer will support CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code development, monitoring, incident response, and automated deployment and recovery processes. The role will also contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and deployment consistency.
Responsibilities
- Support CI/CD pipeline administration, maintenance, and enhancement activities across AWS cloud environments
- Assist with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) development using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Monitor cloud environments and respond to operational alerts and incidents
- Support automated deployment, patching, backup, and recovery processes
- Participate in implementation of automation initiatives designed to reduce operational toil and improve deployment consistency
Skills
- Ability to Obtain Public Trust
- US Citizenship is contractually required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of ONE (1)+ year of work experience
- Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration experience
- Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts
- Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Certification
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Exposure to Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
