[Remote] Digital Project Manager & Developer (Remote)

Collins Aerospace, a leader in technologically advanced aerospace and defense solutions, is seeking a Digital Project Manager & Developer to lead digital project delivery. The role oversees the transition from Azure DevOps to Jira, manages project intake and prioritization, supports Ignition development, applies SQL and Python, and ensures compliance with global trade requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the transition from Azure DevOps (ADO) to Jira, including workspace design, workflow creation, repository linkage, and user adoption
- Serve as primary owner and administrator of the Jira environment, ensuring long-term sustainment and continuous improvement
- Manage digital project intake processes, validating business cases, deliverables, and resource availability
- Establish and manage prioritization frameworks for digital projects, providing timely updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Build and maintain dashboards, roadmaps, and reporting artifacts that communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
- Ensure adherence to Global Trade requirements, including responsibility for project CLARAs and related documentation
- Support Ignition development projects; prior experience with Ignition is preferred but training will be provided
- Apply SQL and Python expertise to validate datasets, review logic, or support analytics work within digital projects
- Collaborate with Engineering, DT, Product, and Business teams to deliver digital solutions aligned with enterprise standards
- Lead best practices in digital project management, DevOps workflows, and change management communication
- Mentor team members and strengthen digital project methodologies within the organization
Skills
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
- 8+ years of experience in digital project management or DevOps leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience implementing Jira at scale, including administrative ownership
- Experience with DevOps workflows and digital tool integrations
- Working experience with SQL and Python
- Prior experience reporting out to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven environments
- Prior experience with Ignition
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with Azure & JIRA DevOps, code repositories, and pipeline tooling
