Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gecko Hospitality is seeking an experienced Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing for an iconic luxury hotel in New Orleans. The role involves leading revenue generation and strategic sales initiatives while overseeing room revenue, banquet and catering sales, and maximizing profitability through effective strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to maximize room, banquet, catering, and meeting revenue
• Lead all sales efforts across corporate, group, association, leisure, and convention market segments
• Drive revenue performance through forecasting, budgeting, yield strategies, and business mix optimization
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, meeting planners, travel partners, and industry organizations
• Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and demand patterns to identify new business opportunities
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales & Marketing team while fostering a high-performance culture
• Oversee sales action plans, promotional initiatives, client events, and networking opportunities to increase market share
• Ensure accountability for meeting budget, forecast, and revenue performance goals across all sales segments

Skills

• Minimum of 5+ years of Director of Sales & Marketing experience in a full-service luxury hotel
• Experience leading sales for a 500+ room hotel
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving market share growth
• Strong knowledge of hotel revenue management, forecasting, yield strategies, and business planning
• Hotel Director Marketing & Sales: 3 years (Required)
