[Remote] Django Backend Lead Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Raas Infotek is seeking an experienced Django Backend Lead Developer to join its team. The role focuses on leading backend development projects using Django and Databricks, designing scalable APIs, integrating Azure Cloud services, mentoring developers, and ensuring high-quality, secure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of backend systems using Django/Databricks
- Design and implement scalable and secure APIs
- Integrate Azure Cloud services for application deployment and management
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Optimize database performance and manage data storage solutions
- Ensure high performance and security standards for applications
- Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making
Skills
- Visa: USC/ Green card/ GC-EAD/ TN Visa/ Only W2
- 1. Proficient in python programming language with a strong understanding of python frameworks
- 2. Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture
- 3. Handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, azure, or google cloud
- 4. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like docker and Kubernetes
- 5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- 6. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a technical team
- •10+ years of experience in backend development
- •5+ years of experience with Django
- •Proven experience with Azure Cloud services
- •Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- •Experience with database management (SQL and NoSQL)
- Skills: Django, Python, Azure Cloud, SQL/NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, Git, and Agile methodologies
- Experience Level: 10+years
- Experience in Databricks is a plus
- Nice to have: Azure Databricks, Delta Lake and Delta tables, PySpark
