[Remote] E-Learning Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The client is a major publishing company seeking an E-Learning Project Manager to oversee the development and release of digital learning products. The role manages project schedules, budgets, resources, stakeholder communications, content deliverables, and launch-related issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all aspects and resources related to the development and release of new and updated products
- Ensure that projects stay within budget and launch on time
- Collaborate with stakeholders to acquire subject matter experts and peer reviewers recommended by content owners; ensure that deliverables are submitted on time; request payment and ensure that proper paperwork is submitted
- Develop comprehensive project schedules that encompass realistic time frames and the many activities that accompany product development and launch
- Track and report progress and forecast final targets
- Liaise with distribution and development partners to identify business requirements and to problem solve and trouble shoot problems
- Troubleshoot issues identified by internal and external customers
- Hold regular meetings with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a timely launch and to proactively address challenges and issues
- Work with product owners, marketing, sales, and client services to plan and execute client and other communications
Skills
- • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of project management experience
- • Attention to detail a must
- • Proficient working with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and databases
- • Experience working across teams
- • Experience with complex resource management, including managing overlapping project assignments
- • Experience using agile project management as it relates to content
- Experience with QuickBase and Jira a plus
- • Background in digital content, publishing or media preferred
