[Remote] Embedded C++ Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is hiring for a contract technical leadership role. The Senior Technical Lead will guide developers working on embedded networking with C++ and Linux, conduct code reviews, ensure process compliance, evaluate technical alternatives and risks, and collaborate with stakeholders on project scope, deliverables, reporting, and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to a team of developers in embedded networking, enhancing their capabilities in C++ and Linux, and increasing productivity through mentorship and knowledge sharing
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews in C++ and Linux environments, establishing quality assurance processes and performance optimization techniques to ensure the successful delivery of complex embedded networking solutions
• Ensure process compliance within the assigned module by participating in technical discussions and reviews, acting as a consultant for feasibility studies, evaluating technical alternatives, assessing architectural risks, and contributing to project estimations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to embedded systems projects, preparing and submitting status reports to minimize risks and facilitate timely resolution of escalations
