[Remote] Frontend Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Huntress Talent is seeking a Frontend Engineer to build modern, scalable web applications and deliver high-performance user experiences. The role focuses on developing reusable UI components, backend APIs, design-system implementations, responsive interactions, and accessible frontend architectures while collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reusable UI components and shared libraries that power our modern web applications using React, Next.js, and other component-based frontend frameworks
- Develop intuitive, high-performance user interfaces with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vite, Vue, Svelte, or similar technologies
- Own the design and development of scalable backend APIs and data models that deliver exceptional frontend performance and seamless user experiences
- Create high-fidelity UI components that faithfully implement our design system in code
- Craft smooth, responsive interactions and animations that enhance usability and accessibility
- Partner closely with Product and Design to translate complex workflows into elegant, intuitive user experiences
- Optimize frontend performance, scalability, and accessibility across browsers and devices
- Contribute to our design system, component documentation, and frontend architecture while helping define engineering best practices
- Implement advanced frontend concepts including complex state management, virtualized data, sophisticated forms, and reusable component patterns
Skills
- 3+ years of experience building production-grade full-stack web applications , with significant expertise developing modern frontend experiences
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks and build tools such as Vite, Vue.js, Svelte, or similar component-based frontend technologies
- Expert-level proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend architecture and best practices
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and building scalable backend services that support rich frontend applications
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture, reusable UI libraries, and design systems
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Storybook, or similar tools
- Deep knowledge of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, responsive design, and browser compatibility
- Experience with modern UI libraries and styling frameworks such as Material UI, Tailwind CSS, Chakra UI, or equivalent
- Comfortable working across the full stack and collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering in a fast-paced startup environment
