[Remote] Frontend Software Engineer

Piper Companies is a provider of enterprise technology solutions and is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join an organization in the network simulation and networking technology industry. The role focuses on building interactive, scalable web applications for network visualization, configuration, and orchestration using Vue.js and JavaScript, while integrating APIs and optimizing performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance modern web applications used to visualize, manage, and configure complex virtual network environments
- Create responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Vue.js and vanilla JavaScript
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and real-time data into frontend applications
- Optimize application performance and usability across large-scale network topologies and datasets
- Contribute to reusable component libraries and maintain frontend development best practices
Skills
- - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- - 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
- - Strong expertise with Vue.js
- - Working knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and infrastructure
- - Experience building scalable web applications and consuming RESTful APIs
