[Remote] Full Stack Developer (backend focus)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Blu Omega is a technology and cybersecurity solutions company supporting federal agencies. The Full Stack Developer will build secure, cloud-ready applications and backend services for a mission data analytics program, including RESTful APIs, microservices, mobile integrations, and scalable web solutions. The role also involves cloud integration, DevSecOps, automated testing, troubleshooting, and Agile collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services supporting native iOS and Android applications
- Build full-stack solutions using C#/.NET, Java, Node.js, Python, React, Angular, and TypeScript
- Develop backend components supporting mobile integration, offline synchronization, secure authentication, and data exchange
- Design scalable, high-performance, secure, and reliable services for mobile and web applications
- Integrate solutions with Azure, AWS, and other cloud environments, including serverless services and secure cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with mobile teams to ensure API versioning, dependency management, and seamless integration
- Implement authentication and authorization patterns supporting enterprise environments
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps activities, automated testing, and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues, recommending improvements to architecture and performance
- Work with multidisciplinary teams in Agile development processes, including design, code reviews, and technical discussions
Skills
- 3+ years of experience developing full-stack solutions including front-end, backend, and API layers
- Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs, backend services, or microservices
- Experience integrating backend services with native or enterprise mobile applications
- Proficiency with C#/.NET, Java, Node.js, or Python
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or TypeScript
- Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or similar
- Strong understanding of secure authentication, mobile data patterns, and scalable architectures
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL technologies
- Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
- Experience designing serverless solutions using Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of mobile-aware architecture, offline synchronization, and API versioning
- Experience with React Native or Flutter for cross-platform mobile development
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, and secure deployment practices
- Experience modernizing enterprise or government systems used across native iOS and Android platforms
