[Remote] Full Stack Engineer

Radley James is partnering with a high-growth technology company building a marketplace and financial platform within the alternative assets space. The company is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build and scale payments infrastructure, ledgering systems, and future lending and financial products, with a backend-heavy focus and ownership within a small payments engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Building and scaling real-time payments infrastructure
- Processing high-value ACH transactions, including $100k+ payments
- Developing double-entry ledger systems
- Integrating with Stripe and banking partners
- Building infrastructure for future lending and financial products
- Approximately 70% backend development with some frontend/mobile work
- Working within a small, experienced payments engineering team
Skills
- 4+ years of fullstack/backend engineering experience
- Strong Python or TypeScript
- Experience building financial transaction or payments systems
- ACH / real-time payments experience
- React experience
- Comfortable taking significant ownership in a fast-moving environment
- React Native/mobile exposure is a plus
