[Remote] Full Stack Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nash is a company focused on revolutionizing logistics through its Autonomic Logistics OS. They are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design and build the Nash portal, which is crucial for operators to manage logistics effectively. The role involves collaborating with various teams to create a seamless interface that enhances operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features end to end across the stack, from the React and TypeScript portal operators rely on every shift, to the Python services and APIs that power it
- Translate logistics problems into products. Partner with PM, design, and operations to turn messy real-world workflows into interfaces and systems that fit how customers actually run their business
- Contribute to system design and architectural decisions across the platform, balancing reliability, security, and scalability against the speed the business needs
- Write clean, well-tested code, drive thoughtful code reviews, and raise the bar on engineering standards across the team
- Debug and resolve production issues across frontend and backend, with the automated tests and observability that catch problems before customers do
- Build responsive, high-performance interfaces with a sharp eye for latency, loading and error states, and the edge cases that decide whether an operator trusts the product
- Support a strong engineering culture through mentorship, thoughtful reviews, and shared ownership of technical standards
Skills
- 4+ years building and shipping full-stack web applications in production
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems is a plus
- Strong React skills (or equivalent modern frameworks), with deep working knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-driven architecture
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks
- Experience designing and working with GraphQL and RESTful APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL), and familiarity with NoSQL stores
- Comfort working in microservices or service-oriented architectures
- Solid system design, coding, and testing skills on both sides of the stack
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern deployment practices
- Product sense and craft. You care about how things feel, not just whether they work
- Strong communicator who collaborates well across product, design, operations, and data, and can drive ambiguous problems to a clear outcome
- High agency in a fast-paced environment
- Mentorship instincts: experience growing other engineers through reviews, pairing, or technical leadership is a plus
- Strong preference for the Bay Area
- Experience with Flask, SQLAlchemy, or WebSockets
- Background in integration-heavy or real-time systems
- Prior startup experience (not required)
Benefits
- Quarterly broader team on-sites to bond with teammates
- Competitive compensation and opportunity for equity
- Flexible paid time off
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
