[Remote] Full Stack Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-performing Agile engineering team building modern applications for digital assessment and content authoring. The role focuses on full-stack development and automated testing using TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, DynamoDB, and Playwright, while collaborating with product, design, QA, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Design and implement automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript , including migration from Python-based test automation
- Develop new features and enhancements with a focus on user experience, scalability, and performance
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices and standards
- Contribute as a senior technical member of an Agile engineering team
- Participate in pair programming and collaborative problem-solving
- Support testing, production support, and other engineering activities as needed
Skills
- • 7+ years of professional software development experience
- • Advanced experience with React, TypeScript, and Playwright
- • Strong full-stack development experience with both front-end and back-end technologies
- • Experience developing software applications in highly scaled environments
- • Experience working on Agile engineering teams
- • Experience with pair programming
- • Some professional experience with Python
- • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a degree in an analytical field is preferred
- • Experience with Node.js, AWS, DynamoDB, and AWS CDK
- • Ability to contribute across development, testing, and production support
- • Experience developing and maintaining test automation
- • Ability to understand frameworks and libraries while maintaining strong knowledge of the underlying code
- • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and cross-functional teams
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- • Continuous-improvement mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies
- • Ability to understand technical decisions within the broader product and business context
- • AWS certification (Associate level or higher) is preferred
