[Remote] Full Stack Engineer

Remote Full-time Now Hiring

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Craftwork is a technology-enabled home services company building proprietary software to manage customer experiences and field operations. The Full Stack Engineer will build and own modern web and backend products, scalable systems, and infrastructure while collaborating with Product, Design, Operations, and customers to improve reliability, usability, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll design and ship thoughtful, complete product experiences that solve meaningful problems for customers and employees
  • You’ll own features from initial problem definition through design, development, launch, iteration, and measurable improvement
  • You’ll sweat the details of usability, edge cases, and polish
  • You’ll build maintainable frontend and backend systems that can support increasing product complexity, usage, and market expansion
  • You’ll make sound technical decisions that balance speed, simplicity, scalability, and long-term maintainability
  • You’ll reduce bugs and performance issues across the platform through thoughtful engineering practices and proactive technical improvements
  • You’ll implement appropriate testing, monitoring, and observability so issues are identified, diagnosed, and resolved quickly
  • You’ll write clean, thoughtful, testable code and contribute to engineering standards that improve the quality of the codebase over time
  • You’ll actively participate in code reviews, technical decisions, and knowledge sharing
  • You’ll help create a culture where quality, maintainability, and thoughtful execution are shared expectations across the engineering team
  • You’ll work closely with Product, Design, Operations and our customers to turn real business problems into clear, effective technical solutions
  • You’ll communicate tradeoffs, scope, and progress clearly while helping the team move from ambiguity to shipped product quickly
  • You’ll stay close to the people using what we build, including spending time in the field to understand how the product performs in the real world
  • You’ll proactively identify friction, opportunities, and improvements rather than treating a feature as finished once it ships
  • You’ll use customer feedback, employee feedback, product data, and direct observation to continuously improve what we build
