[Remote] Full Stack Engineering Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GenPark is seeking a Full Stack Engineering Intern to help build modern, scalable web applications. The intern will contribute across frontend and backend development, including feature implementation, API and database work, debugging, testing, collaboration, deployment, documentation, and research into new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve frontend and backend features
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces
- Create and integrate APIs and backend services
- Work with databases to store and manage application data
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot technical issues
- Improve application performance, reliability, and usability
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on new features
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Assist with deployment and documentation
- Research and experiment with new technologies when needed
Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks
- Basic understanding of backend development using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with APIs and databases
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, or Express
- Familiarity with SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Familiarity with authentication and third-party integrations
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, Vercel, or other cloud platforms
- Personal projects, GitHub contributions, or previous internship experience are a plus
