[Remote] Full Stack Junior Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. XYZ AI Inc. is a boutique AI software company building products across research, product development, and practical AI applications. The company is seeking a Full Stack Junior Developer to build and improve web-based AI products across frontend, backend, and API layers while collaborating across multiple projects and using AI-assisted development tools.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive interfaces with TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS
- Develop backend services and integrate REST APIs
- Build, test, debug, and maintain production features
- Collaborate with senior engineers and product stakeholders
- Move between projects as priorities evolve
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards
- Use AI coding tools heavily while reviewing, testing, and taking responsibility for generated code
- Document technical decisions and support deployment and performance improvements
Skills
- 3–5+ years of software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or higher
- Professional experience with TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS
- Web development and backend development experience
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs
- Experience using AI coding tools, or a strong willingness to make AI-assisted development a major part of your workflow
- Strong ownership, initiative, flexibility, and attention to code quality
- Ability to work across multiple products and submit reliable, maintainable code
- Eastern Time availability preferred
