[Remote] Full Stack Software Engineer - Remote 🌍
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Educato is a YC-backed company building an AI-powered learning platform that helps students prepare for high-stakes exams through personalized learning tools and AI tutoring. The company is seeking a product-minded Full Stack Software Engineer to build and ship end-to-end features across its Vue/Nuxt and TypeScript frontend, Supabase/Postgres backend, and AI-powered workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end product features used by learners around the world
- Turn ambiguous user problems into simple, reliable product experiences
- Develop AI-assisted learning and internal automation features, including the evaluation and improvement loops that make them trustworthy
- Improve performance, observability, security, testing, and maintainability as the product scales
- Participate in product decisions, technical design, code review, and documentation
Skills
- At least one year of professional software engineering experience, or unusually strong evidence of equivalent production work
- Practical backend experience with APIs, SQL, Postgres, authentication, and data modeling
- Evidence that you have owned and shipped real features, not only completed isolated tickets
- Clear written communication, sound product judgment, and comfort working independently in an async team
- This is a worldwide remote role. You should be able to overlap for at least four working hours with the European workday
- Strong TypeScript and modern frontend fundamentals. Vue or Nuxt experience is ideal; strong React experience is welcome if you can learn Vue quickly
- Experience shipping LLM features, evaluations, agents, or education products is a plus
