[Remote] Full Stack Software Engineer - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GMV specializes in technical products and systems for bus-based public transit, including real-time transportation, tracking, communications, and analytics solutions. The Full Stack Software Engineer will develop and maintain mission-critical software across legacy and greenfield systems, working with C# .NET, SQL databases, testing frameworks, caching solutions, and React or Angular while collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities
- Track down and prevent problems while keeping the wider scope of the system in mind
- Help us strategically decide how we can incrementally move forward without disrupting other services
Skills
- • 5+ years of professional industry C# .NET experience
- • Experience with SQL databases, can you provision a new SQL instances and design database schemas from the ground up
- • Experience with unit and integration testing, including setting up new testing frameworks and projects from scratch
- • Deep understanding of caching strategies, with the capability to design and implement scalable caching solutions
- • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across engineering teams and cross-functional departments
- • Professional front end experience with React or Angular
- • Avid practitioner of SOLID principles or have read “Clean Code”
- • Hands-on experience with Docker, including containerizing and deploying .NET applications
- • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to design and implement end-to-end pipelines from scratch
- • Experience with Redis or other 3rd party caching providers
- • Experience with Queuing like RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc
