[Remote] Full-Stack Web Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Clipboard Sports is developing a sports-focused SaaS application and is seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer to help finish and launch the product. The role focuses on completing Stripe subscription and payment functionality, improving responsive usability and user experience, fixing bugs, and deploying the application to production on Google Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Finishing our subscription/payment system (Stripe integration)
- Making the app work smoothly on phones, tablets, and all major browsers
- Fixing bugs and polishing the user experience
- Deploying the application to production on Google Cloud
Skills
- 2+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Strong, demonstrable experience with React and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Stripe — building and maintaining subscription/payment systems
- Experience with PostgreSQL and a modern ORM (Prisma preferred, but Sequelize/TypeORM experience acceptable)
- Proven track record deploying real applications to production (Google Cloud Platform experience strongly preferred)
- Comfortable jumping into an existing codebase and understanding someone else's work
- Strong communication skills — able to explain technical concepts in plain language to a non-technical founder
- Self-directed and able to manage your own time and priorities
- Experience with startups or building products from 0-to-1
- Mobile-first / responsive design experience
- UX/UI sensibility — you care about how things look and feel, not just that they work
- Experience with sports, fantasy sports, or data-heavy applications
- Prior experience with equity compensation structures
