[Remote] Full-Stack WordPress Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The healthcare client is seeking an experienced Full-Stack WordPress Developer to support the development and ongoing enhancement of healthcare websites. The role involves building WordPress sites from scratch, translating Figma designs into responsive experiences, and troubleshooting and enhancing existing websites.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive WordPress websites from Figma designs
- Develop custom themes, Gutenberg blocks and patterns, content types and custom fields
- Implement reusable components, animations, forms and responsive functionality
- Configure and troubleshoot plugins, APIs, forms and CRM integrations
- Manage development, staging and production environments and deployments
- Review existing code, identify issues, troubleshoot and complete ongoing enhancements
- Optimize websites for performance, accessibility and cross-browser/device compatibility
Skills
- Strong professional experience with WordPress development
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with custom Gutenberg block development
- Proven ability to translate Figma designs into production-ready websites
- Experience with REST APIs, integrations, Git and deployment workflows
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Headless WordPress experience is strongly preferred
