[Remote] Fully Remote Full Stack Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The employer is a high-growth fintech software organization that automates the collection, organization, and extraction of complex investment fund document data for institutional investors. The role focuses on building and enhancing modern frontend features with React and TypeScript, while contributing to backend development, system design, architecture discussions, collaboration, testing, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- 75% Frontend Development (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
- 15% Backend Development (Python/Django and API integrations)
- 10% Architecture, System Design, and Technical Planning
- 60% Building and enhancing new product features
- 20% Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineering teammates
- 10% Participating in system design, architecture, and technical discussions
- 10% Code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles
- Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with backend development using Python (Django experience preferred but not required)
- Understanding of software architecture and system design fundamentals
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience with Svelte or other modern frontend frameworks
- Professional experience with Django
- Exposure to cloud-based environments and scalable distributed systems
- Familiarity with performance optimization and frontend architecture best practices
- Experience working within high-growth startup or SaaS organizations
- Understanding of data-intensive applications or fintech products
- Experience participating in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing practices
