[Remote] GCP Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TekValue IT Solutions is seeking a GCP Data Engineer for a long-term remote role. The position focuses on designing and developing cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses using Google Cloud Platform, while supporting batch and real-time data processing, data optimization, security, and governance.
Responsibilities
- Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses
- Knowledge of data modeling, partitioning, clustering, and query optimization
- Experience with batch and real-time data processing
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and data governance
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices
Skills
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Storage
- Hands-on experience with Dataflow / Apache Beam
- Hands-on experience with Pub/Sub
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Composer / Airflow
- Hands-on experience with Dataproc / Spark
- Strong Python and SQL programming skills
- Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses
- Knowledge of data modeling, partitioning, clustering, and query optimization
- Experience with batch and real-time data processing
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and data governance
