[Remote] GCP Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NAM Info Inc is seeking a GCP Data Engineer / Forward Deployment Engineer to support the migration of the WFM ecosystem from Palantir Foundry to Google Cloud Platform. The role combines data engineering, software engineering, and client-facing technical consulting, with responsibilities spanning data pipeline development, application modernization, AI-assisted development, architecture collaboration, testing, and production readiness.
Responsibilities
- Reverse engineering existing Palantir-enabled workflows
- Designing and building future-state GCP solutions
- Developing and optimizing data pipelines
- Supporting application modernization activities
- Accelerating delivery through AI-enabled development practices
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand business processes supporting Weekly Forecast Manager applications
- Analyzing existing Palantir architecture and translating business functionality into GCP-native solutions
- Designing and developing scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud technologies
- Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and reduce manual engineering effort
- Collaborating closely with Lead FDEs, Architects, Product Owners, and Business Analysts
- Participating in architecture reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical design discussions
- Supporting testing, release planning, and production readiness activities
- Contributing to documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handoff efforts
- Working in highly collaborative cross-functional teams under aggressive delivery timelines
- Demonstrating strong ownership, accountability, and customer-facing communication skills
- Help successfully transition business-critical functionality from Palantir to GCP by EOY
- Deliver production-ready code utilizing AI-enabled development techniques

- Previous Palantir Foundry experience
- Experience decommissioning or replacing Palantir solutions
- Experience migrating applications from Palantir to GCP
- Supply chain, logistics, forecasting, transportation, or operations domain experience
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale modernization initiatives
