[Remote] Hyperion SmartView Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VillageCare is a community-based, not-for-profit health care organization serving people with chronic care needs, seniors, and individuals requiring continuing and managed care services. The Hyperion SmartView Analyst will enhance financial reporting and data analysis, collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams, and lead improvements to Hyperion Planning for budgeting and forecasting. The role also develops SmartView reports, optimizes Excel reporting, troubleshoots performance issues, trains end users, and monitors data accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining SmartView reports
- Optimizing Excel for user-friendly reporting
- Supporting financial planning and budgeting processes
- Troubleshoot SmartView performance issues
- Provide end-user training
- Monitor data accuracy across Hyperion applications
- Anticipates and prevents delays or other things that can adversely affect the customer
- Keeping customers informed about the status of pending actions and inquiries
Skills
- 3+ years of experience with Hyperion SmartView, Essbase, Planning or related financial systems
- Strong Excel skills including formulas, macros and automation with SmartView
- Hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning functionalities for budgeting and forecasting
- Experience in revamping, automating or optimizing budgeting systems using Hyperion Planning
- Background in financial reporting, FP&A or accounting with a solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting
- Anticipates and prevents delays or other things that can adversely affect the customer
- Keeping customers informed about the status of pending actions and inquiries
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field
