[Remote] Imaging Software Engineering Lead/ Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tekniforce is seeking a Medical Imaging Software Engineering Manager to provide strategic leadership in transforming medical imaging technology functions. The role involves leading the digital transformation of imaging platforms and modernizing the technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Lead digital transformation of company’s imaging platforms
- Modernize architecture and technology stack
- Reduce reliance on third-party contractors by building internal expertise
- Bring strong medical imaging software knowledge into the organization
- Shape and define the future-state architecture
Skills
- 5+ years of clinical or industrial Software engineering and architectural experience in a medical imaging field
- 3+ years of experience as Software Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role
- 3+ years of C/C++/python programming experience
- Software development lifecycle, software architecture, object-oriented design
- Excellent verbal, written and computer-based communication skills
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Medical Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline
- Good problem-solving skills, ability to evaluate situation and prioritize factors in decision making
- Medical imaging or clinical trial industry experience
- Understanding of product functionality (not necessarily a product manager, but product-aware)
- Ability to engage with product teams and business unit leaders
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, computer vision preferred
- Agile methodologies within a heavily regulated industry. Experience bringing Agile practices into regulated environments would be highly valuable
